The birds woke me this morning with their singing and I am knowing that my God is so wonderful. Having weather that allows the window to be cracked while we sleep just fills me with gratitude.
Roland hung with the kids last night while I so enjoyed being with friends at choir. When I came home and the kids were in bed we went for a walk up and down/ back and forth on Calvin Street to "unpack" the day. Each day is so long and so good. God is teaching me so much. We talked about Moses and the Red Sea and Caleb and his undying fervor and unfailing physical strength as he awaited God's promises for forty years. We laid on our backs on the trampoline and stared up at the big dipper through the mass of branches that invade our outlook of the sky. The trees have grown so much in the eight years we have lived in this house. And Roland says to me, "Sarah, we have such a good life." Mmm - we do.
