4/10/08

Submitted by Sarah on Thu, 04/10/2008 - 4:15pm.

Weather really makes or breaks the day.  My mom babysat for an hour and half today.  She said it was the longest hour and half of her week.  They painted.  Yeah Nana!

We hit a Dove movie yesterday with my mom and Sister and her twins.  It wasn't until we got INTO Rivertown Mall that I realized/ heard Gertie had chosen to wear Claire's old tap shoes with her outfit (that was already a little on the creatively colorful side).  Click click click clack - all the way through the mall.  You go girl.  I love it.

Yabi is still wearing his bike helmet and rain coat.  My brother said I should give him a snorkel and a ping pong paddle and send him outside to direct traffic.

I told a friend today that I used to have 2 low maintainance kids -- now I have 4 high maintainance kids.  Funny how that goes.

Really, I am so blessed.  Last night at the dinner table we ended with our bible story and then I asked Gertie if she would like to pray for us in Amharic.  She was so pleased.  She bowed her head and folded her hands and prayed for us.  It was so beautiful.  I saw a glimpse of heaven's response in that moment.  It was one of those moments where music is playing and the room is glowing.
